Overview
Plan F is the most comprehensive standardized Medigap plan. It covers the Part A and Part B deductibles along with the coinsurance items covered by Plan G.
How it works
Plan F is only available to people who were eligible for Medicare before January 1, 2020. If you became eligible on or after that date, you cannot buy it.
What to watch for
If you already hold Plan F you may keep it. Because the pool of Plan F policyholders no longer takes in newly eligible people, rate trends are worth watching.
What to do next
A review compares your current Plan F premium against what a Plan G or Plan N would cost you today, with no obligation to change anything.
